What a show. What a night.

We’re still coming down from Saturday, if we’re honest. Playing to a completely sold out Trull Memorial Hall was something else. The atmosphere in the room right from the first act was just on another level, and it only got better as the night went on.

Every single person in that crowd brought it. Whether you were up dancing, singing along, or just soaking it all in with a drink in hand, you made it what it was. That’s what turns a good night into a proper one.

A huge thank you to all the performers who gave it everything on stage. The standard this year was genuinely brilliant from start to finish, and we’re incredibly lucky to have so much local talent willing to get involved and support it.

We also had something a little bit special this year, bringing in extra band members for a few numbers in the form of trumpet and sax. Those three songs absolutely lifted the roof, and we’re very glad to say they’ve already agreed to come back next year and play for the whole thing… which should be huge.

Behind the scenes, there’s a lot that goes into making something like this happen. From the team setting up and packing down, to the bar, the sound, lighting, and ticketing—it doesn’t run without people giving up their time. So thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.

And the big one… thanks to your support, we’ve made just under £2,000 profit for The Trull Players. That’s what it’s all about—putting on a great night and raising money to keep things going.

We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. Sold out, full room, great music, great people.

And we’re not stopping there… the date for next year is already locked in, and we’ll be revealing it very soon.

Same again next year?
